U'Luvka is distilled in small batches, by craftsmen, from the finest Polish rye, wheat and barley.
It is fresh, clean and elegant on the nose, with distinct floral notes.
You will find it creamy and lightly buttery in character, with impressive sweet, savoury and spicy flavours, aniseed freshness and a long vibrant grain finish.
U'Luvka is both new and yet old at the same time. It has roots going back to the alchemists of the 17th century Polish Royal Court.
In those heady days, the tradition was to drink vodka from glasses without bases. This had one unfortunate side effect that the glasses could not be put down until the entire contents had been drunk.
Legend has it that the Court was almost permanently intoxicated and affairs of state were grinding to a halt. Sendivogius, the genius court alchemist, was begged by the King and Queen to distil a a spirit of such exceptional quality that the court could continue to drink all night and work all day. Sendivogius worked his magic and created a Royal elixir of rare quality. The court was saved, and just enough was never again too much.
Alchemy is all about transformation and this is the essence of U'Luvka. Working with Poland's finest modern alchemists, U'Luvka has been recreated the 'unfathomable spell' the result of which is yours to enjoy.

Aylesbury Duck Vodka
Produced from soft white winter wheat sourced directly from local farmers in the Western Rockies of Canada (near Calgary).
As with most spirits, only particle filtration is employed. It's a refreshing contrast to the hackneyed marketing typical of vodkas. The producers even add, "We are sorry that we don’t have a fun story about filtering through carbon, diamonds and crystal, etc. but we felt the spirit from the still was good enough without this extra step."

Babicka Original Wormwood Vodka
‘Babicka' is the Czech term for an extraordinary band of sixteenth century peasant grandmothers with a mysterious reputation for witchcraft. Gathering wormwood and other herbs from the wilds of the Czech lands to create charms and tonics to supplement their meager income, the Babicka recipes represent some of the earliest vodka formulas ever created. Babicka Vodka is the brainchild of entrepreneurs Arran Russell and Alex Clarke. The pair developed the concept after meeting an eccentric solitary distiller in Moravia who was experimenting with various ancient recipes and modifying them for today's tastes and standards, bringing the Babicka legend full circle.
The alchemy of this contemporary Babicka brew combines only the pure ingredients, with water drawn from 10,000-year-old deep springs near the city of Prostejov, steeped in the mineral-rich stones of the Czech landscape and undisturbed for countless centuries. Sensuously pure and crystal clear, this ancient water lends the vodka its incomparable clean, crisp taste. Wormwood is a bitter herb that is grown in the Czech Republic from which thujone is extracted. The result is a unique wormwood-infused Vodka replicating a 500-year-old Czech 'witches recipe'.

Crystal Head Vodka
A controversial archaeological mystery, 13 crystal heads have been found in regions around the world, from the American southwest to Tibet. They’re dated between 5,000 and 35,000 years old, and were supposedly polished into shape from solid quartz chunks over a period of several hundred years. Although according to Hewlett Packard engineers, they bear no tool marks to tell us exactly how they were made. The heads are thought to offer spiritual power and enlightenment to those who possess them, and as such stand not as symbols of death, but of life.
Enter Dan Aykroyd, well-known actor, musician, entrepreneur and spiritualist. He’s a believer in what he calls the "invisible world" where otherworldly presences are a "form of reality as valid as our normal reality." Partner and veteran fine artist John Alexander has exhibited extensively in the United States and around the world. Together, they were avid researchers of the legend of the 13 crystal heads. And from this inspiration, an idea was born.
Launched in 2008, Crystal Head Vodka was the fastest penetrating product to all 50 US states in history. The brand has been awarded OU Kosher certification.
Production starts with grains grown in the region of Chatham, Ontario. These grains are then processed and distilled four times to produce a neutral grain spirit at 95% ABV. The raw spirit is then reduced down to 40% alcohol by volume using water sourced from an aquifer in the Newfoundland, Canada countryside. This water seeps to the surface through a bed of porous rock which serves as a natural filter as it has done for many thousands of years.
The vodka is quadruple distilled, then triple charcoal filtered. Finally, every drop is filtered three times through 500-million year-old crystals know as Herkimer Diamonds. These quartz crystals are found in very few places in the world, including Herkimer, New York and regions in Tibet and Afghanistan. Perhaps because they share the raw material from which the original crystal heads were carved, they are thought to have similar spiritual qualities. The production process is carried out at one of the last government owned distilling facilities in the world – The Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation.
Not just a good story - Crystal Head Vodka was awarded a Double Gold medal at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition held in May 2011. More than 200 vodkas in total entered the competition; of this, Crystal Head Vodka was one of only a handful of brands to receive a Double Gold Medal in the entire competition.
Produced in Sweden using locally grown winter wheat. According to the producer’s notes, the distillery employs a unique fermentation and distillation process that essentially eliminates the need of charcoal filtering; due to removal of impurities in the early stages of production- little more information can be offered unfortunately.
The end result is undoubtedly one of the more impressive bottles we've seen on the shelf – both visually and qualitatively - not to mention a great conversation starter amongst guests. Spin the bottle, nuclear style?

Crystal clear. The nose is invitingly fresh with a generous dose of sweet grains with an accent of wet rivers stones and hints of spring flowers. The palate confirms the nose being silky with a dose of sweetness that is expected with wheat based Vodkas. Nicely balanced with great texture ready to act as a solo performer or perfect for citrus mixers that will take advantage of the citrus notes that rise on the finish of this Vodka.

It is made with Scandinavian winter wheat – which is wheat, harvested 6 months later than regular wheat, thus contains a higher level of starch, which in turn produces a higher level and quality vodka.
Wheat vodkas generally create a spirit with a slightly sweeter taste, sometimes containing hints of fennel, liquorice and powdered sugar notes on the nose and palate.
The water is sourced from an underground lake in Sweden which undergoes an advanced mechanical osmosis process that forces the water through micro-fibers, filtering out 60% of the original water.
This impure 60%, called “dross”, is discarded. The remaining 40% is the rarest, purest part of the purest glacier water available.
The spirit used to produce the vodka is distilled more than 5 times.
